From a 24" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas
Another Flying Fortress painting. A
battle damaged B-17 limps back to England in World War II. Short on
fuel she sets down in an English meadow as an escort pilot flys over
to make sure his brothers are OK. This painting was completed as a
commission in the '90s and I always liked it. You can see the
similarity in the newly released "Down & Out".
