"Sunrise Zeros"
From a 20" x 24" Acrylic on Canvas
Mitsubishi A6M Zeros flying in formation
against a rising sun. This painting was on the 50th anniversary of
Pearl Harbor cover of "Air List Ads". The Zero got its name from its
official designation, Navy Type Zero Carrier-Based Fighter (or
Reisen), though the Allies code-named it “Zeke.”
Original is Sold (sorry
no prints)
