"Albatros"
From a 36" x 48" Acrylic on Canvas
The German Albatros series of
single-seat fighters were among the most numerous and distinctive
aircraft of the First World War. The Albatros D III was introduced
early in 1917. It was easy to fly and was an effective combat
aircraft. The fuselage was plywood and in some "Jastas" (or
squadrons) the planes had outrageous paint schemes.
Original is Sold (sorry
